王大凡 (1888年—1961年)，名堃，號希平居士，又號黟山樵子，齋名希平草廬，中國陶瓷美術大師，景德鎮“珠山八友”之一。王大凡早年拜師汪曉棠，其粉彩人物仕女深受汪曉棠的影響。縱觀王大凡一生的創作，王大凡作品追求“文人畫”，以雅俗共賞貫穿，并將國畫藝術和詩、書、畫、印運用到陶瓷裝飾上，傳世作品精美絕倫，充分體現了以詩入畫，蘊畫于詩的藝術風貌。在“珠山八友”的數位畫家中，除王琦屬大寫意外，其他畫家均為兼工帶寫、婉約內斂的小寫意，王大凡作品就是這種藝術表現形式和審美理念的典型代表。
Wang Dafan (1888 - 1961), a famous artist named Xiping Jushi, Yishan Yuzi, Zhaiming Xiping Caolu, a master of Chinese ceramic art, is one of the eight friends of Pearl Mountain in Jingdezhen. Wang Dafan is a high-yielding master of porcelain plate painting. Four screens are popular among the people. For example, Wuzi Dengke fishermen and woodcutters read four beautiful women in spring, summer, autumn and winter, eight immortals go to sea piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, and so on. Wang Dafan is an outstanding representative of applying traditional Chinese painting art and poetry, books, paintings and printing to ceramic decoration. His nearly 1000 artistic works fully reflect the artistic style of combining poetry with painting, poetry with painting. If his early works tell people a moving story with a brush, his middle-aged works convey a kind of Zen, while his later works express a kind of spiritual realm. Chinese painters such as Lin Fengmian, Pan Tianshou, Zhou Changgu and Wu Shanming called Wang Dafan a "master of ceramic literati painting" with high artistic accomplishment.
