乾隆是清代封建社會發展的鼎盛時期。在督陶官的管理下，景德鎮御窯廠規模龐大，每年燒造各種瓷器都在數十萬以上，無論是在工藝技巧還是裝飾藝術都已達到了爐火純青的地步。而粉彩是乾隆彩瓷的主流，官窯和民窯都大量燒造。除了白底粉彩外，還有各種地色的粉彩瓶。
乾隆粉彩有一個獨有的特征，即器物口部及底部都施松石綠釉。松石綠釉淺淡光潤，釉面猶如粥皮，由于是一種低溫彩釉，釉面常常帶有細小的紋片。除以粉彩繪畫為主，還常加繪料彩、金彩或黑彩，或與青花五彩、斗彩并施于一器。在裝飾方法上出現多種色地“開光”粉彩，如紅、黃、藍、綠、紫及多種色釉為地，可達十多種。乾隆粉彩利用粉彩粉潤柔和的質感，用粉化的各種彩料仿制各種工藝品，能準確地表現出所仿之物的色彩和質感。主紋是纏枝花，形象是將傳統的牡丹花、寶相花或蓮花的花與葉變形，仿佛西洋花卉。紋飾中也有古時人物。乾隆粉彩的造型工藝都是精益求精，很少出現夾扁或歪塌現象。乾隆粉彩輕巧、秀麗，基為藍地，透光性好。對著光看去，象彩云追月，若隱若現，披光含霧；動中有靜，美不勝收，令人陶醉。由其看出，此粉彩花瓶出現的時間已經比較長，十分具有收藏價值。

In addition to the pastel paintings, paint colors, gold colors or black colors are often added, or they can be combined with blue and white and bucket colors and applied to a single device. In the decoration method, there are various colors of "lighting" pastels, such as red, yellow, blue, green, purple and various colored glazes, which can reach more than ten kinds. Qianlong pastels use the pastel powder to soften the soft texture, and use various powdered materials to imitate various crafts, which can accurately show the color and texture of the imitated objects. The main pattern is entangled branches, and the image is to transform the flowers and leaves of traditional peony flowers, treasure phase flowers or lotus flowers, like western flowers. There are also ancient figures in the decoration. The modeling techniques of Qianlong pastels are all striving for perfection, and there are very few signs of flattening or crumble. Qianlong pastel is light and beautiful, with a blue ground and good light transmission. Looking at the light, like the colorful cloud chasing the moon, looming, covered with light and fog; there is stillness in the movement, beautiful and fascinating.
