Dr sun yat-sen is a great national hero and a great pioneer of China's democratic revolution. The 1911 Revolution initiated and led by him completely overthrew the feudal dynasty that lasted for more than 2000 years in China. In order to make the world remember Dr. Sun Yat-sen's great achievements, silver coins engraved with Dr. Sun Yat-sen's head in various formats were minted and issued during the Republic of China. Sun Yat-sen's image is on the front, a glittering sun is engraved on the back, and a sailing boat is sailing through the wind and waves in the middle. In 1933 and 1934, the government of the Republic of China forged a portrait of sun yat-sen on the front and a sailing boat on the back, commonly known as "the ocean of boats". In 1935, the Central Mint of the Republic of China government produced another batch of silver coins like Sun Yat-sen's. In March 1949, the central mint of the government of the Republic of China forged the last batch of silver coins with sun yat-sen's image on the front and sailboat pattern on the back of the 23rd edition of the Republic of China.
In the twenty-third year of the Republic of China, sailboat coins were made of precious metals and produced much less than copper coins and bank notes. In addition, due to the social unrest during the Republic of China, there were very few left in the world, much less than the stamps and commemorative coins currently issued. It can be predicted that this kind of sailboat silver dollar will definitely become a dark horse ready to go in the collection field!
This "one dollar double sail coin of the twenty-third year of the Republic of China" bears the head portrait of dr sun yat-sen on the front, the "twenty-third year of the Republic of China" on the top and the "one dollar" on the back. This coin is full of vicissitudes of life, but rust stains will not make people feel old. We can still see the silver mottled and ancient "wrapped slurry" of this coin. This is the "time stamp" formed naturally. It also makes us feel that the long years it has gone through contain rich emotions and full of historical flavor.
In the design of the coin surface, Sun Yat-sen's double sail coin in the 23rd year of the Republic of China is more like a source of wisdom and a unique aesthetic perspective for hundreds of craftspeople. The whole coin is bright silver, with the head of the great revolutionary Dr. Sun Yat-sen engraved on the front, the small words "Twenty-Three Years of the Republic of China" printed on the top, and the double mast sailboat finely engraved on the back, showing the value of "one dollar" on the left and right respectively. The overall shape of the coin is harmonious and the design is exquisite, attracting the attention of the guests present.
Auction records from various places in the past show that the market situation of these two-sail coins in the twenty-third year of the Republic of China was applauded, and with the passage of time, their "value" became more and more precious. In 2012, a silver coin worth more than 3 million yuan worth of Sun Yat-sen's twenty-third year in the Republic of China was sold on the autumn auction floor in Macao, reaching the highest price in the history of silver dollar auction. In June 2013, Sun Yat-sen's silver sailboat was sold for 2.46 million yuan in an auction of antiques and artworks in Beijing. All indications show that investing in artworks is the most intelligent choice and therefore the most suitable for folk collectors to treasure.
