張若古原名張志遠，號大風堂門人，為張大千先生再傳弟子，師從山水界泰斗梁樹年先生。張若古自幼習畫，從事國畫研究30多年，幼年時和故宮博物院王雪濤先生學習花鳥，1995年拜入梁樹年先生門下學習山水畫技法。國家一級美術師、中國名人美術家協會副會長、中國張大千藝術研究院名譽副院長、張大千藝術唯一傳承人；

2013年在吉林美術館舉辦個人畫展，多幅作品被吉林省博物館收藏；
2014年其作品山水作品《墨染春秋》獲得黃山杯全國書畫大賽金獎。
