古代大藏經，當代學術界分為北系、中系、南系三大系統
三系的劃分依據，主要有：
一是各系傳承的最初版本不同，導致經文內容略微稍異
二是各系所依經錄有所差異，導致典籍組織體系和收錄數量、范圍的差異
三是各系刊刻版式不同。
目前所知的流傳下來的大藏經有二十多種，為了理清各本大藏經的傳承關系，以便比較其中的差異和各自優劣，末學參考《漢文佛教大藏經研究》《中國佛教》
歷史上影響力較大的主要大藏經，相信現今存在的大藏經絕不止這些——先人為了末法眾生，為了佛法久住，對佛典的保護傾注了大量的心血，相信還有很多珍貴典籍被保護性的隱藏著，有待機緣成熟而出現（近現代極珍貴的古本藏經如《房山石經》、《趙城金藏》、《磧砂藏》的偶然發現就是例證。）
相信今后此體系內的大藏經必然會增多，且隨著新研究成果而變動。
依照形式上分，大藏經可大體劃分為兩個階段：
（一）手寫本階段：宋代以前的手抄本藏經，例如隋唐時期的宮廷寫經及各地官寫大藏經。
（二）刻印本階段：宋代及以后。其標志是中國第一部雕版大藏經《開寶藏》的刊印。
雕版大藏經從源流體系上講，據現代學者研究，提出三大體系的理論：
（1）中原系——以《開寶藏》為代表
（2）北方系——以《契丹藏》為代表
（3）南方系——以《崇寧藏》《毗盧藏》為代表
以上四種藏經，可以說是漢傳雕版大藏經的鼻祖。其衍流出的之后各代藏經
“早期的刻本藏經都是根據當地流通的寫本藏經刊刻，各地的寫本藏經由于種種原因，在流傳過程中會出現種種差異，從而產生不同的傳承系統。后代的刻本藏經，則大抵覆刻前代的刻本藏經，故而傳承上述三大系統的佛典而發展。”

At present, there are more than 20 kinds of Tibetan scriptures handed down. The major Tibetan scriptures with greater influence in history, I believe that there are more than one Tibetan scriptures that exist today-the ancestors devoted a lot of effort to the protection of the Buddhist scriptures for the end of the Dharma, for the long-term residence of the Dharma, and believe that there are many precious classics that are protected Sexuality is hidden, and there are occasions for maturity to emerge (the accidental discovery of the most precious ancient scriptures in modern times such as "Fangshan Stone Scripture", "Zhaocheng Golden Collection", and "Qiesha Collection").
It is believed that the Tripitaka in this system will inevitably increase in the future and will change with new research results.
According to the formal classification, the Tripitaka can be roughly divided into two stages:
(1) Handwriting stage: Manuscripts before the Song Dynasty, such as the court scriptures in the Sui and Tang Dynasties and the official scriptures from various regions.
(B) The stage of marking: Song Dynasty and beyond. Its logo is the publication of China's first engraved Tripitaka "Kai Treasure".
From the source system, the engraved Tripitaka is based on the research of modern scholars and puts forward the theory of three major systems:
(1) Central Plains Department-represented by "Kai Treasure"
(2) Northern system-represented by "Qidan Collection"
(3) Southern Department-represented by "Chongning Zang" and "Viluzang"
The above four kinds of Tibetan scriptures can be said to be the originator of the Han Dynasty's engraved version of the Tripitaka. After it came out, the various generations of Tibetan scriptures
"The early scriptures were all engraved according to the local circulation of scriptures.
