乾隆時期寶蘇局有完善的鑄泉體系，已發現有蘇式特寬緣雕母存世，各類試樣之母錢，行用錢之母錢亦有多品種存世。試樣錢由于鑄行時間跨度較長,先后有仿泉局的部頒式大直徑式樣，直徑可達27.5毫米至29毫米之間，也鑄有宋體寬緣大樣和蘇局特有的蘇式特寬緣楷書大樣等多種類樣錢和試樣錢。
行用錢多數可對應特寬緣大型的試鑄樣錢，文字極其相像，只是做了減緣、減重處理。早期所鑄行用錢也有部分足重或超重的，這批鑄造加工非常規范，直徑有達到26毫米甚至超過26毫米的。但到了乾隆后期，減重情況就很明顯，有的出現了減緣，廣穿，加工業偏草率，最輕者只有不足一分五厘(即不到克),直徑最小者不到18毫米 。銅質差距也大，私鑄情況也很普遍。
行用錢版式紛繁復雜，部頒類、泉手類、宋體類、蘇式類,四大類面文書法變化迥異，文字大相徑庭，漢文、滿文變化的區別也很顯著。
此藏品為乾隆通寶寶蘇局花錢，為方孔圓錢，品相精美，銅質精細，包漿醇厚，紋飾清晰，極其美觀。錢幣正面內圈為“乾隆通寶”四字楷書直讀，筆法流暢，字廓深峻、文字端莊，外圍鑄刻了一圈紋飾；錢背部分，內部眼穿孔左右鑄滿文“寶蘇”，即江蘇蘇州錢局，外圍紋飾清晰。

During the Qianlong period, there was a perfect spring casting system in Baosu Bureau. It has been found that there were many kinds of money of the mother of all kinds of samples and the mother of money. Due to the long casting time span, the sample coins have successively the large-diameter pattern issued by the spring Bureau, with the diameter ranging from 27.5mm to 29mm. There are also many kinds of sample coins and sample coins, such as the song style wide edge pattern and the special Soviet style special wide edge regular script pattern.
Most of the commercial money can correspond to the extra wide margin large sample money. The characters are very similar, but the margin and weight are reduced. In the early days, some of the cast money was full or overweight. The casting process was very standard, with a diameter of 26 mm or even more. However, in the late Qianlong period, the weight loss was obvious. Some of them had been reduced. They were widely worn and the processing industry was sloppy. The lightest one was less than 1.5 cm (i.e. less than g), and the smallest one was less than 18 mm in diameter. There is also a large gap in copper quality and private casting is also common.
There are many and complicated patterns of money used. There are four types of calligraphy, namely, ministerial, spring hand, song style and Soviet style.
This collection is for the Qianlong Tongbao Soviet bureau to spend money, for the square hole round money, the product phase is exquisite, the copper is fine, the coating is mellow, the decoration is clear, extremely beautiful. The inner ring of the front of the coin is a four character regular script of "Qianlong Tongbao". The writing style is smooth, the character outline is deep and dignified, and a circle of ornaments is engraved on the periphery. In the back part of the coin, the inner eye is perforated, and the Manchu "Baosu" is engraved on the left and right sides, that is, Jiangsu Suzhou money Bureau, with clear ornaments on the periphery.
