距今800年前的新時期時代,最早的人們就掌握了制陶技術,特別是到了商代,已經出現了瓷器的雛形。當時已出現一種最早的青釉器,燒紙的溫度可達到1200攝氏度左右,在釉下也刻有各種紋理紋飾,比如雷紋、水波紋、葉脈紋、圓點網紋等等。

Through magnifying glass observation, earthworms walk along mud lines, and use bubbles to form a three-dimensional climbing line. Frog egg lines wrap egg cores and stack them to hatch. There are also cattle blood lines, dark red blood, murderous, solemn and dignified, etc., which are difficult to describe one by one. The size and distribution of hair color and texture of Jun porcelain in the official kilns of the Northern Song Dynasty are difficult to be controlled properly.
鈞窯在其他窯口中最為突出的特點就是其窯口出的瓷器不定性,鈞窯不僅開創了我國窯變釉瓷器的先河,而且鈞窯器物的成型和高超的燒窯技術,一直為后世贊嘆不已,在各大拍賣場,只要出現鈞窯瓷器,都會被買家爭先搶購,早在2013年11月香港佳士得拍賣公司就曾拍賣過一款鈞窯玫瑰紫釉鼓釘三足洗,最終以123萬美金(USD)成交,折合人民幣757萬。

鈞窯的制作十分嚴格,鈞窯的稀少以及珍貴完全是緣于宋徽宗的“完美主義”,在宋徽宗在位期間,他將鈞窯定位御窯,專門生產貢瓷,但是為了追求完美的貢瓷及釉色,一方面不計成本的生產貢瓷,另一方面又嚴格規定著,每年御窯中只能生產36件絕品鈞窯。

根據文獻記載,當時鑄造鈞窯時,必須要有官員在場監看,在挑選出符合宮廷器物條件的宮廷制品后,其余的一律銷毀,就算是殘障斷片,也不允許流入民間,由此可見鈞窯的珍貴之處,更別提工藝鑄造之法和秘籍了。
