世人評(píng)此為“宋代第一泉”，與新莽并稱(chēng)中國(guó)錢(qián)發(fā)“二圣”公元1100年1月，北宋皇帝哲宗病故，由其弟趙佶接替做了北宋第八任皇帝，為宋徽宗。徽宗“性甚機(jī)巧，優(yōu)于技藝”，終日沉迷于書(shū)法繪畫(huà)，不理朝綱。他在位25年，先后鑄造了圣宋通寶、崇寧通寶(重寶)、大觀通寶、政和通寶(重寶)、重和通寶、宣和通寶(元寶)等6種錢(qián)幣，其中最有市場(chǎng)價(jià)值的就是“崇寧通寶”、“崇寧重寶”這兩枚古錢(qián)幣。

Zhao Ji, his younger brother, succeeded him as the eighth emperor of the Northern Song Dynasty and became emperor Hui Zong of the Song Dynasty. Huizong is "skillful in nature and superior to art". During his 25 years in office, he successively minted six kinds of coins, namely, Shengsong Tongbao, Chongning Tongbao (chongbao), Daguan Tongbao, Zhenghe Tongbao (chongbao), Chonghe Tongbao, Xuanhe Tongbao (Yuanbao), among which the two ancient coins with the most market value are "Chongning Tongbao" and "Chongning chongbao".
崇寧重寶，系北宋徽宗崇寧年間鑄(公元1102年-1106年)，銅幣正面鐫刻著“崇寧重寶”，字體為隸書(shū)，端莊雄秀，古樸方正，嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)莊重，法度固定，字里行間留在錢(qián)幣上的，是腐蝕錢(qián)幣的鐵銹;銅幣背面則沒(méi)有印制任何的字體。錢(qián)幣的中央部分，是打孔的正方形圖案，方正大方，落落得體，輪廓立體，這種錢(qián)幣鑄造形狀便于老百姓將其串起來(lái)掛在身上，不易丟失。該銅幣整體制作精良，版面清晰秀美，文字方正，保存良好，在經(jīng)過(guò)時(shí)間的洗禮，歲月的沖刷后成古銅色，包漿自然，更富有其濃厚的歷史感。

The rust on the coins is left between the lines, which corrodes the coins; no fonts are printed on the back of the coins.
