孫中山頭像中華民國(guó)開(kāi)國(guó)紀(jì)念幣（俗稱“小孫頭”或者“孫小頭”）來(lái)歷，至1911年底辛亥革命之后，1912年1月3日，中華民國(guó)政府成立，由于幣制尚未建立，除四川改鑄大漢銀幣，福建改鑄中華元寶外，主要的造幣廠，大都仍沿用前清鋼模鑄造銀幣，以供流通需要。

圖案采用大總統(tǒng)孫中山肖像，以后的通用銀幣再改花紋式樣。孫中山令財(cái)政部行文，同意鼓鑄紀(jì)念幣，并命令其余的通用銀幣新花紋，“中間應(yīng)繪五谷模型，取豐歲足民之義，垂勸農(nóng)務(wù)本之規(guī)”，訓(xùn)令財(cái)政部速制新模，分令各省造幣廠照式鼓鑄。不久，財(cái)政部就頒下新模給江南(南京)、湖北、廣東等造幣廠依式鑄造，這就是“中華民國(guó)孫中山像開(kāi)國(guó)紀(jì)念幣”的由來(lái)。近幾年銀元價(jià)格飆升除了收藏隊(duì)伍擴(kuò)大實(shí)力買(mǎi)家的介入也是關(guān)鍵原因。皇家國(guó)際市場(chǎng)部透露銀元只要一上市就會(huì)被實(shí)力型買(mǎi)家一次性全部吃進(jìn)溫州、山西等地大買(mǎi)家已經(jīng)介入銀元市場(chǎng)。雖然機(jī)構(gòu)與大買(mǎi)家的介入會(huì)使銀元板塊震蕩，但長(zhǎng)期來(lái)看還是會(huì)穩(wěn)定上升的。普遍收藏者要放遠(yuǎn)眼光擇機(jī)進(jìn)場(chǎng)，市場(chǎng)表現(xiàn)一直波瀾不驚的銀元忽然扶搖直上以“孫中山像中華民國(guó)開(kāi)國(guó)紀(jì)念幣上六花星版壹圓銀幣”為代表的老銀元價(jià)格在5年間升了6倍。更有專(zhuān)家稱擁有老銀元的市民應(yīng)該細(xì)心保存積極收藏今年將是老銀元升值的狂飆期。
