Sun Yat-sen's head is the origin of the commemorative coins of the founding of the Republic of China (commonly known as "little sun tou" or "Sun Xiao tou"). After the 1911 Revolution, the government of the Republic of China was established on January 3, 1912. As the currency system has not yet been established, except for the silver coins of the Han Dynasty in Sichuan and the Chinese Yuan Bao in Fujian, most of the major mints still use the steel mould of the Qing Dynasty to cast silver coins for circulation.

The design adopts the portrait of Sun Yat-sen, the great president, and later the general silver coin changes the pattern. Sun Yat-sen ordered the Ministry of finance to write, agreed to drum cast commemorative coins, and ordered the rest of the general silver coins to have new patterns, "in the middle, a model of five grains should be drawn, taking the meaning of the rich, the old and the people, and following the rules of urging the farmers to do business", ordered the Ministry of finance to quickly make new patterns, and ordered the mints of all provinces to drum cast according to the patterns. Soon after, the Ministry of Finance issued a new model to Jiangnan (Nanjing), Hubei, Guangdong and other mints, which was the origin of "the founding commemorative coins of Sun Yat Sen of the Republic of China". In recent years, the soaring price of silver yuan is also the key reason in addition to the intervention of the collection team to expand the strength of buyers. Royal International Marketing Department revealed that as soon as silver dollar goes on the market, it will be eaten into Wenzhou, Shanxi and other big buyers once and for all by powerful buyers. Although the intervention of institutions and big buyers will shake the silver dollar plate, it will rise steadily in the long run. The general collectors should take a long view and choose the opportunity to enter the market. The silver dollar, whose market performance has been steady, suddenly soared to the top. The price of the old silver dollar represented by "Sun Yat Sen like the six star version of one yuan silver coin on the founding commemorative coin of the Republic of China" has risen six times in five years. More experts say that citizens with old silver dollars should carefully preserve and actively collect them. This year will be a period of rapid appreciation of old silver dollars.
From ancient times to now, people have the tradition of saving money. It is understood that the collection of coins is generally divided into paper money, gold and silver commemorative coins and ancient coins, and silver dollar in ancient coins has always been a hot spot. Because silver is precious in material and high in artistic value. At the same time, the production of silver coins is much less than that of ancient coins and notes of the Republic of China. In addition, due to the continuous wars in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, some of the more precious silver coins are rare. This commemorative coin of the founding of the Republic of China by sun xiaotou is standard in size, perfect in appearance and natural in size. The commemorative coin of the founding of the Republic of China is commonly known as "xiaotou". In the center of the obverse is Sun Yat-sen's side portrait, on the inside of the margin is engraved with four characters of Chinese clerical script "Republic of China", under which is engraved with five characters of "Founding commemorative coins", with long flower decorations on the left and right. In the middle of the back is the Chinese script "one circle" with the round characters appearing at the beginning and Jiahe, on the top of the edge is the inscription "memento", on the bottom is the inscription "birth of Republic of China", on the top left and right are the hexagons and straight teeth. The coins in the collection are clean, bright in color and exquisite in casting process, which are the best of ancient coins. At present, the number of this coin is small, which is worth collecting.
