孫中山先生是偉大的民族英雄，中國民主革命的偉大先驅(qū)。他發(fā)起和領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的辛亥革命，徹底推翻了在中國持續(xù)2000多年的封建王朝統(tǒng)治。為了讓世人銘記孫中山先生的豐功偉績，在民國時期，鑄造發(fā)行了鐫有孫中山先生頭像各種版式的銀幣。正面為孫中山像，背面鐫一輪金光閃閃的太陽，中間為帆船在乘風(fēng)破浪前進；1933年和1934年，民國鑄造了正面鐫孫中山像，背面鐫一艘帆船乘風(fēng)破浪前進，俗稱“船洋”；1935年，民國中央造幣廠又生產(chǎn)了一批孫中山像的銀幣；1949年3月，民國中央造幣廠鑄造了最后一批民國二十三年版正面鐫孫中山像，背面鐫帆船圖案的壹圓銀幣。

藏品簡介：此枚“民國二十三年壹圓雙帆幣”重約28g直徑為4cm正面鐫刻孫中山先生側(cè)面頭像，上方鐫“中華民國二十三年”，背面鐫雙桅帆船在乘風(fēng)破浪前進，左右分列“壹圓”幣值。此錢幣飽含滄桑之感，銹跡斑斑反而不會讓人覺 得陳舊，我們依然可以看出這對錢幣的銀質(zhì)斑駁蒼古的“包漿”，是自然形成的“時間的軌跡”之再現(xiàn)，所以在民國二十三年時，以孫中山頭像為圖案的銀幣流通于當(dāng)時的市場之中的非常之少，顯得珍貴，極具價值。
