銀元正面希臘自由女神坐像，因而得“坐洋”之名。為清末在華流通的外國銀圓之一，“坐洋”的主幣“壹圓”的鑄造時間從1885年開始，在巴黎鑄造，至1928年共計43年。“坐洋”的形象雖然與其后英國鑄造的“站洋”中持戟武士傲然挺立船頭的形象大相徑庭，但卻絲毫無法掩蓋殖民主義者大規(guī)模進行經(jīng)濟侵略的野心。各種坐洋斷斷續(xù)續(xù)發(fā)行至1937年，因為戰(zhàn)爭的陰影而宣告結(jié)束。而中國在1933年實行廢兩改元后，船洋法幣逐漸一統(tǒng)市場，外國銀圓在中國的好日子不復(fù)再了，恰好的是這個時候坐洋也銷聲匿跡了。圖文中的坐洋幣為1913年發(fā)行，由于二次大戰(zhàn)城結(jié)束后，法國短暫統(tǒng)治印度支那，再沒有再發(fā)行過銀質(zhì)貨幣，坐洋的發(fā)行期為1903年至1923年，此坐洋幣稀缺品。藏家手里也越來越少，有的當專家寶一代代往下傳，今年由于經(jīng)濟比較緊張，無奈之舉，只能守痛割愛有喜歡的收藏人士可以來本公司觀賞議價
