宣和是宋徽宗趙佶的年號。宋錢中，徽宗錢從它的制作、書法來看，都是中國古錢幣的杰出代表。宋徽宗從1100年到1125年在位，鑄造發行了建國、崇寧、大觀、政和、宣和六種年號錢，以及“圣宋”一種國號錢。宋徽宗年號錢的錢文版別有近千種，不少是他親筆書寫的，字體包括隸書、篆書、行書以及徽宗獨創的“瘦金體”。他鑄的方孔錢是中國方孔錢中制作最為精美的錢幣之一。因而不少的書法家也收藏他的年號錢。字體端莊秀麗，運筆挺拔俊秀，素有“鐵劃銀勾”之稱。
