崇寧重寶，是北宋徽宗崇寧年間鑄(公元1102年-1106年)，幣質有銅、鐵、銀。崇寧重寶為隸書銅、鐵大錢，制作多亦精好，存世較多。另有崇寧重寶錢文為徽宗御書瘦金體，鐵劃銀鉤，深具骨秀格清之氣韻，書法超妙絕倫，堪稱幣文楷書之顛峰。世人評此為“宋代首泉”，與新莽并稱中國錢發“二圣”。公元1100年1月，北宋皇帝哲宗病故，由其弟趙佶接替做了北宋第八任皇帝，為宋徽宗。

Zhao Ji, his younger brother, succeeded him as the eighth emperor of the Northern Song Dynasty and became Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty.
宋徽宗“性甚機巧，優于技藝”，終日沉迷于書法繪畫，不理朝綱。他在位25年，先后鑄造了6種錢幣，其中崇寧重寶的錢文是徽宗親書的瘦金體。令人叫絕的是崇寧重寶，青銅精制，文字骨秀格清，惹得眾多古錢幣收藏者愛不忍釋。

此組崇寧重寶，錢幣為圓形方孔銅質，大小正確，尺寸頗佳，是宋代珍品錢幣。錢幣正面“崇寧重寶”四字隸書對讀，古樸方正，法度固定，嚴謹莊重，字體端莊工整，筆畫圓潤飽滿，挺拔俊秀，十分漂亮；穿孔干凈，舒適整潔，包漿自然古老，此幣與其他崇寧重寶不同的是屬于特殊版本，可以清晰的看到錢背圖形，非常稀少，十分罕見，有著非常高的收藏價值！
