聚寶盆，顧名思義其形狀為凹形，如碗如兜，招財(cái)聚氣，財(cái)源滾滾，生旺家宅風(fēng)水。故聚寶盆內(nèi)可放硬幣、銅錢、元寶、護(hù)身符等吉祥物品。
聚寶盆，是中國民間故事中的一個(gè)寶物。傳說明初沈萬三致富原因是由于擁有聚寶盆。這個(gè)典故來自于周人龍的《挑燈集異》：“明初沈萬三微時(shí)，見漁翁持青蛙百余，將事銼剞，以鏹買之，縱于池中。嗣后喧鳴達(dá)旦，貼耳不能寐，晨往驅(qū)之，見蛙俱環(huán)踞一瓦盆，異之，將歸以為浣手器。萬三妻偶遺一銀釵于盆中，銀釵盈滿，不可數(shù)計(jì)，以錢銀試之亦如是，由是財(cái)雄天下。”

盆周有吉祥圖紋盤橫，盆底有官印為“光緒年制”小篆體，龍鳳紋包裹。口徑周邊使用痕跡明顯，器型端莊大方，形制規(guī)范；通體施銀色釉，光潔似銀器；上敷以銀釉龍鳳紋浮雕，雕瓷紋飾細(xì)膩豐滿生動(dòng)， 胎質(zhì)堅(jiān)實(shí)厚重，底款“乾隆年制”四字篆書款，經(jīng)鑒定為乾隆后期仿制，但也是官窯器風(fēng)格，極具收藏及投資價(jià)值。滿器采用雕瓷工藝，龍鳳紋飾刻畫深刻典型，氣勢磅礴神態(tài)逼真，栩栩如生，整體紋飾搭配自然合理，具有聚財(cái)好運(yùn)之意，極其富貴榮華，龍鳳呈祥，寓意美好。
聚寶盆外壁立體浮雕，鍍銀雕刻了回形紋、如意紋于盆體之。脈絡(luò)清晰寶盆內(nèi)銀光閃閃，光滑如水，無暇無疵。聚寶盆壁向外呈圓弧形。通體包銀、堆銀、鍍銀、雕銀。盆內(nèi)光滑如鏡，銀光熠熠；聚寶盆作工精巧，擺在室內(nèi)，滿室生輝，說不盡的皇家氣勢。工藝精湛，巧奪天工，天下無雙。
