光緒元寶是大清光緒年流通大面值貨幣之首，是我國首批引進海外技術(shù)的印發(fā)流通貨幣，對于現(xiàn)今也蘊藏了一定歷史意義。北洋造光緒元寶北洋龍洋在中國近代機器鑄幣史上屬一個大系列，其鑄期歷時甚長（從光緒22年—光緒34年[1896至1908年]），歷經(jīng)十余載，幣模幾經(jīng)更替，即使同一鑄造年份亦往往由于修模、幣材、工藝技術(shù)、工廠管理等諸多因素，造成版別異常繁雜。
Guangxu Yuanbao is the first currency with large face value circulating in Guangxu, Qing Dynasty. It is the first batch of currency to be issued and circulated by introducing overseas technology in China. It also has certain historical significance for today. Beiyang Longyang, the Yuanbao of Guangxu made by Beiyang, belongs to a large series in the history of modern machine coinage in China. 此錢幣整體品相完好，銀幣正面：珠圈內(nèi)滿漢文“光緒元寶”，圈外上環(huán)“北洋造"，下環(huán)“庫平七錢二分”，左右各一圓點心。銀幣背面：中心為蟠龍圖，上下環(huán)英文，左右各一圓點心。蟠龍眼神靈異炯炯有神;龍鱗雕刻細密有致，騰云駕霧，身姿遒勁有力;龍爪張揚，神武有力;龍身盤踞太陽，盡展皇家威嚴大氣。此蟠龍圖 是中國所有龍洋圖案錢幣(包括國外發(fā)行的所有錢幣)中，工藝最精湛，雕工最完美，浮雕感最強烈的品種，鏡面平整光滑，紋飾的相慣線，顯得非常清晰。

On the back of the silver coin, there is a picture of a dragon in the center, surrounded by English at the top and bottom. Pan Long's eyes are vivid and bright; the Dragon scales are carved in a delicate and delicate way, flying in the clouds and powerful; the dragon's claws are open and powerful; the dragon's body sits in the sun, displaying the royal majesty. This flat dragon picture is the most exquisite, the most perfect sculptor and the most intense relief type among all the Dragon ocean coins (including all the coins issued abroad) in China. The mirror surface is flat and smooth, and the lines of patterns are very clear.
