書法見長行草、魏碑、大篆，對毛體書法的創作情有獨鐘。其作品獲國家大展金獎、銀獎，部分作品被國內外友人及博物館收藏并組團帶領眾多畫家在香港、韓國、日本、新加坡開展藝術交流，被業界和媒體譽為文化藝術創作的探索者，書畫藝術交流的活動家。

Cheng Yu was born in 1964 in Dingxi, Gansu Province, the hometown of Chinese painting and calligraphy, majoring in art of Central Academy of fine arts. Calligraphy has a long history of running grass, Wei stele and big seal script. It has a special passion for the creation of Maoti calligraphy. 王琦為“珠山八友”之首，生于1884年，卒于1937年，享年53歲。其初以捏面人為生，后向鄧碧珊學畫瓷板肖像。先以錢慧安仕女畫為藍本，后改學“揚州八怪”之一的黃慎，晚年的作品開始擺脫錢慧安和黃慎的影子，在繼承中有了自己的特征，以寫意人物畫見長。

此副瓷板畫材料物理和化學性能都很穩定，不怕潮濕，不怕霉變，其色彩將保持數幾十年的鮮艷。瓷板畫是指在平素瓷板上使用特殊的化工顏料手工繪畫、上釉，再經高溫燒制而成的壹種平面陶瓷工藝品 。 作為“八友”之首。王琦因捏過人像、雕塑、畫過瓷像、又吸收了西洋畫陰陽彩瓷技法，以寫意人物為主，勾勒側鋒用筆，線條簡潔流暢，頓挫有力，揮灑奔放。王琦獲“神乎技藝”壹匾后，從此聲名鵲起，壹致同意追憶其為“中國陶瓷美術大師”榮譽稱號。 并確定了用西畫明暗畫人物頭像，以寫意筆法畫衣紋的畫風，致此王琦的瓷板畫有著顯赫地位，收藏價值與投資利益極高！
