"開元通寶錢，中國古代聞名錢幣。其原因首要是前史上有唐開元、會昌開元、閩開元、南唐開元、南漢開元等等皆以“開元通寶”為錢文，而各時期開元通寶錢有大有小，有珍亦有普，是中國古代鑄幣選用同一錢名，而由不同時期所鑄的僅有錢品。而在這些開元通寶錢中，由五代十國時期南唐所鑄的“開元通寶”錢，則是其間一種。南唐開元的首要風格特征，除了錢文稍有區別，筆劃較粗外，就是其為寬緣制式。而以主流泉譜所載來看，南唐開元通寶錢，普品相對較多，唯特大型闊緣珍稀，闊緣大型次之，首要為光背無文，亦見星月紋式。而檢點愚帳中所藏南唐開元通寶錢，則見有一品甚為獨特之錢，其乃寬緣背鑄有龍鳳紋，故似為南唐所鑄，且為宮錢性質，亦今停止極端稀有。

“開元通寶”四字，隸書書體，直讀。其字書相遒勁，筆劃較粗，與唐以及其它開元通寶錢書相有所區別，經重復比對，其與南唐開元通寶錢書相最為挨近，故，鄙意認為，其可框定為南唐鑄品。而全體上看，其字布局和諧，大小適中，較為規整天然之中，更顯古樸坦率。故文字書相一項，無異無邪，其門得開。復觀其背，盡管銹蝕較重，然亦可基本分辨出其為龍鳳之紋。而此紋飾，在其它開元通寶錢中皆未見譜載，面寬緣背龍鳳紋，隸書，紋飾高凸，不難看出，本品總體鑄相規整，厚薄適中，小平大樣形制。其錢文紋飾鼓凸度稍見平漫，然亦鼓凸有致，深淺較為得體，不難辨識。其鑄相顯現，方正圓矩，平整地章，穿輪潔凈。故由此不錯的鑄相來看，其非為私鑄，仍可屬官爐鑄品，其門再開。展目本品，銹色莽蒼，較重之銹痂裹縛，乃生坑銹相，出于東北黑龍江窖藏之品，混坑與若干代錢幣之中，千里挑之僅此一枚。其銹質堅固不糟，銹色純真，分布天然，深淺相間。薄銹之處，可見包漿稠密，熟老結壯。續可識其乃青銅質地，銅色則是出現明顯熟舊之相。無需再為贅述，本品銹相昭然一派天然天成，無異無邪，此門可開。番鑒賞，幾度審視，本枚“開元通寶背龍鳳紋”小平大樣形制錢，三相一材，無不過關斬將，開宗明義，難以懷疑。前述，依據錢文書相和寬緣制式，鄙意將其定為南唐所鑄，十之八九。而因其背龍鳳紋，應屬宮錢性質而非厭勝品，尤其是其錢體小，更不可能為開爐之錢，且至今創見僅見且為脫譜之品，故而作為南唐宮錢，非常的可貴，值得收藏矣。"

The bulge degree of the Qian Wen ornament is a little flat, but it is also bulged, with proper depth, which is not difficult to identify. Its casting phase appears, square and round, flat and clean.
