此畫作者劉國恩，號九頭山人、職業畫家，現居北京，1960年生于遼寧本溪，遼東國畫學會副會長，泰山國畫研究院名譽院長，2001年進修于中國美術家協會山水畫高研班。
Liu Guoen, No. jiutoushan, a professional painter, now lives in Beijing. He was born in Benxi, Liaoning Province in 1960. He is the vice president of Liaodong traditional Chinese painting society and honorary president of Taishan traditional Chinese Painting Research Institute. In 2001, he studied in the senior class of landscape painting of China Artists Association
2002年進修于中國美協中國畫高研班，曾就讀于中國國家畫院盧禹舜工作室。

劉國恩從小跟父親學畫，似乎是天生就一定在與色彩密不可分，所以即便是他17歲當兵入工廠，但仍舊沒有隔斷他與繪畫藝術的緣分。而這種緣分給劉國恩帶來的，卻曾經是一段漫長而艱辛的寂寞之旅。
Liu Guoen studied painting with his father when he was young. It seems that he was born to be inseparable from color. So even when he was a soldier in the factory at the age of 17, he still did not cut off his fate with painting art. But this kind of fate brings Liu Guoen, but once was a long and arduous lonely journey.
面對劉國恩，讓人感覺最強烈的是他的執著。他的語言平和，但目光銳利。與他對話，使人感覺他是一位專為繪畫而生的。與他交談，他的思維始終停留在畫板上，以至于在談及畫時，他的臉上會顯出一種異樣的神采，他對未來的把握與暢想，也多是怎樣在畫板上展示其創造力。而這種思維的慣性，顯然來自于他30多年的潛心追求。
