In the collection market, the collection of coins has always been well known to the public, and the popularity of the collection is also very high. Especially in the Qing Dynasty, many ordinary people wanted to collect coins. In the late Qing Dynasty, China began to issue silver coins, especially in the Guangxu period, after the Sino Japanese War, a large number of Yuan Bao silver coins were issued. During the Xuantong period, the Qing government made a clear mark on this new variety in order to issue it in a unified way. Therefore, the silver dollar handed down from the Qing Dynasty will generally be called the Xuantong Yuanbao silver dollar.
Yuan Bao of Xuantong made in Yunnan in the spring of gengxu: seven coins and two cents for Kuping
The most special feature of the seven money and two Fen silver coins made in Yunnan in spring of gengxu is that the inscription has four characters of "gengxu spring". It's not surprising that Chinese coins are dated by the year of the branch, but the season is unique. Why is there a season on this coin? The reason has not been recorded in any literature. For centuries, major events have been engraved on coins to mark them. If this conjecture holds, the focus will be on what happened in 1910. On April 1, 1910 (the second year of Xuantong era, February 22, gengxu era), Yunnan Vietnam Railway was opened to traffic. This is the first railway in Yunnan Province, with a length of 465 kilometers. It is a meter gauge railway (with a gauge of 1 meter, narrower than the national standard gauge of 1.6 meters). It is called "Yunnan section" in Yunnan. This railway starts from the coast defense of Vietnam and is called "Vietnam section" in Vietnam. Since 1871, it was proposed to be built. In 1885, it was discussed with the Qing government. In 1887, the French government and parliament filed a case. In 1899, it signed the Vietnam treaty with the Qing government to determine the construction and start the exploration. Then, it was started in 1903. In 1910, it was officially opened to traffic, lasting for more than 30 years. Yunnan Vietnam Railway is one of the most arduous projects in the modern history of mankind. It was also the second transnational railway in China at that time, the first railway in the southwest.
M. Tracey Woodward(伍德華)-King Farouk(法魯克國王)-Lee-Lindner,但這枚卻是仿造品。
It breaks the state that Yunnan is located in the border and backward and closed. It is the beginning of Yunnan's opening up and modernization, and promotes the development of Yunnan's economy. The railway was officially opened to traffic shortly after the spring equinox of that year (March 21 / February 11, gengxu), which coincided with the inscription "spring" on the coin. It can be concluded that the "made in Yunnan in the spring of gengxu" Yuan Bao Kuping seven Qian two Fen silver coin may be prepared by the authorities to commemorate this major project. Since then, it has not been issued for various reasons, so the number is very rare. Up to now, it is regarded as one of the most important cultural relics in the history of Chinese coins, which contains extremely important cultural and historical significance. Although the world's most rare, but the spring of gengxu Yunnan silver coins well-known. The existence of such coins was known as early as 1920. Giuseppe ROS, an Italian Chinese coin collector, has a rubbings made in 1921 based on the coins recorded in the archives of the American Numismatic Association. Unfortunately, however, in the 1930s, forgeries began to appear in the market. From 1961 to 1991, the coin appeared at least nine times in many auctions held in Britain, the United States and Hong Kong - but all of them were forgeries. Among these auctions, the kreisburg Schulman auction held in New York in February 1961 provided a well-organized Coin - a. m. Tracey Woodward - King Farouk - Lee Lindner, but this one was a replica. The one provided by glendining at the von Halle collection auction in London in November 1966 was also a forgery. In addition, the one at Goodman's collection auction in June 1991 was a forgery, although it was not of the same type as the one at the previous auction. This coin is said to be collected by a family in Yunnan, and it is also the original object (recorded in the catalogue of Chengxuan) from which ma Dingxiang, a famous coin collector, made rubbings many years ago. There are some small scars on both sides of the coin. The characters and patterns are pasted with light red and gold. Now this coin appears in the ultima special auction, and it is also the only one recognized as the real one in gengxu, Yunnan Province, with seven money and two cents. This is one of the most famous coins in the history of Chinese coins. It is one of the two rarest coins in China together with Fengtian guimao in 1903. The world's top collectors, such as king Farouk, Woodward, Geng ed, Qin Ziwei, Shi Jiagan, Goodman, Liu Zhuangzi and Zhang Xiuqing, have never owned it, nor have many important museums at home and abroad. It is also the only Chinese coin with season inscriptions. The mystery of its issue has not yet been solved. The only recognized authentic coin first appeared at the auction in April 2002. If you don't sing, you will be amazed. It will become the first Chinese coin with a price of more than 1.089 million yuan at one stroke. In April 2007, it reappeared at the auction, trading at a high price of 3.192 million yuan, continuing the legend.
