汪野亭 (1884—1942)，名平，字鑒，號平山、平生、老平、垂釣子，亦號傳芳居士，平山草堂主人，齋名平山草堂，江西省樂平縣人，近現(xiàn)代著名繪瓷藝家。為瓷都景德鎮(zhèn)20世紀20年代形成的珠山八友大師之一，工畫花鳥、山水。在繪瓷技法上，采用油料，以水粉敷色，作品別具一格。汪野亭是20世紀前期景德鎮(zhèn)陶瓷美術(shù)革故鼎新的著名陶瓷藝術(shù)家。他的山水畫，一直為后人所仰重、仿效，足足影響了半個多世紀。他從藝30多年從未離開過景德鎮(zhèn)，創(chuàng)作了許多代表那個時代的精美作品，受到了世界收藏家的青睞并爭相收購。
Wang Yeting (1884-1942) was named Ping, with the name of Zi Jian. He was named Pingshan, Pingsheng, Laoping and Diaozi. He was also named Fang Jushi, owner of Pingshan Caotang. He is one of the Eight Friends of Zhushan who was formed in the 1920s in Jingdezhen, the porcelain capital. He works on flowers, birds and landscapes. In the porcelain painting technique, oil is used and water powder is used to apply color. The work is unique. Wang Yeting is a famous ceramic artist who reformed Jingdezhen ceramic art in the early 20th century. His landscape painting has always been admired and imitated by later generations and has influenced for more than half a century. He has never left Jingdezhen for more than 30 years and has created many exquisite works representing that era, which have won the favor of collectors all over the world and have been bought by them.

說到“珠山八友”與瓷板畫的關系，還有一個小故事。晚清至民國期間，江西景德鎮(zhèn)聚集了一大批擅長瓷板畫的高手。1928年，一位客商預訂瓷板畫，藝人王琦、王大凡聯(lián)系好友鄧碧珊、汪野亭、何許人、程意亭、畢伯濤、劉雨岑，每個人做一幅畫。畫完以后，大家拍案叫絕，遂請他們8位繼續(xù)作畫。后來，他們就成立一個社團“月圓會”，相約每月在珠山聚合，以畫會友，切磋畫藝，這就是陶瓷史上著名的“珠山八友”。

2011年5月，中國嘉德拍賣會上，珠山八友之一王大凡的“禹王治水圖”粉彩瓷板以920萬元成交。2012年，北京保利春拍中，珠山八友之一何許人的粉彩四季山水長條瓷板掛屏(4屏)以2242.5萬元人民幣成交，刷新八友瓷板作品的價格新高。同年保利秋拍中，“王琦、汪野亭民國重要人物選制粉彩人物山水瓷板(六件)”以3277.5萬元再次刷新瓷板畫的成交紀錄。
