咸豐重寶是清朝政府為籌款鎮壓太平軍，緩解財政危機，于咸豐三年開鑄的大錢。鑄造有“咸豐重寶”、“咸豐元寶”等錢幣。此種銅錢幣十分精美，字跡清晰深俊，銅材優良，呈淺紅黃色，比同版流通的錢稍大些、厚重些。
