岫巖，色有淡綠、碧綠、墨綠，半透明至全透明。墨綠者近黑，微透。綠凍石純凈細(xì)膩，光澤強(qiáng)，但大多數(shù)石質(zhì)亦為層片狀結(jié)構(gòu)，綹性較強(qiáng)。少數(shù)細(xì)潤(rùn)、結(jié)密、純凈者可稱上品，亦可取。
