光緒元寶是清朝光緒年間流通的貨幣之一。由兩廣總督張之洞率先引進英國鑄幣機器鑄造銀元和銅元，共有十九個省局鑄造。光緒元寶歷來都受到很多藏家的關注，不同版別的光緒元寶都有獨特的韻味，值得藏家深品。特別以北洋造光緒元寶為例，錢幣類的在線拍賣中，北洋造光緒元寶備受青睞，成為很多買家追逐的焦點。
藏品正面珠圈內滿漢文“光緒元寶”，圈外上環鑄“北洋造”三字，下環鑄幣值“庫平七錢二分”，左右各一園點星。 背面中心為蟠龍圖，上下環英文，左側有阿拉伯數字34，代表北洋34年。此枚光緒元寶，品相上乘，背面的神龍是全鱗圖，具有相當高的收藏價值。
