銀元最早源于15世紀(jì)的歐洲，其是“銀質(zhì)鑄幣”的通稱，也是世界上銀本位制國(guó)家的主要流通貨幣。
文中展示此枚為西班牙雙柱銀幣。其是西班牙從1535年至1821年間在墨西哥鑄造的一款流通貨幣，這也是西班牙在墨西哥最早生產(chǎn)的機(jī)制幣。因幣面鑄著西班牙皇帝的肖像，所以稱之為“西班牙銀元”，距離最初鑄造已經(jīng)有近三百年的歷史。
此款銀元在明萬(wàn)歷年間流入中國(guó)。中國(guó)人對(duì)從海外輸入的東西多冠以“洋”或“番”的俗稱，因而此幣流入中國(guó)以后，也稱其為“本洋銀幣”。
錢(qián)幣正面鐫有半身西班牙國(guó)王像，外環(huán)左側(cè)為拉丁文“Carolus·IV”（卡洛斯四世），右側(cè)“DEI·GRATLA”(蒙天主之恩)，下部是鑄造紀(jì)年“1790”。錢(qián)幣背面上邊有一皇冠，冠下有狀似盾形圖案。盾形圖案兩旁有兩根立柱，上有帶文字的飄帶。錢(qián)幣外環(huán)是拉丁文：“HISPAN.ET.IND.REX.M.8R.F.M”譯為西班牙和西印度國(guó)王、M表示墨西哥造、8R示面值為8瑞第納爾，后兩位字母F.M為鑄幣師、檢驗(yàn)師的姓名首寫(xiě)字母。
由于清王朝向外賠款等原因，西班牙雙柱幣在我國(guó)的錢(qián)幣收藏市場(chǎng)上十分罕見(jiàn)，現(xiàn)存無(wú)幾，因此備受收藏者的青睞和追捧。展示此枚西班牙雙柱幣，整體保存完整，無(wú)殘缺破損。幣面錢(qián)文清晰，包漿老舊。表面有一些錢(qián)莊的戳記，這使得藏品更富有歷史氣息，收藏價(jià)值極高。
The silver dollar originated in Europe in the 15th century. It is the general name of "silver coinage" and is also the main currency in silver standard countries in the world.
It is shown as a Spanish coin with two pillars. It was a currency minted by Spain in Mexico between 1535 and 1821, and was the first Spanish mechanical coin produced in Mexico. Because the coin face casts the portrait of the Spanish emperor, so called "Spanish silver dollar", from the initial casting has nearly three hundred years of history.
The silver COINS were introduced into China during the wanli reign of the Ming dynasty. Chinese people often refer to things imported from overseas as "foreign" or "Chinese", so this coin is also called "local silver coin" after it is introduced into China.
On the front of the coin engraved with a bust like the king of Spain, the left side of the outer ring for Latin "Carolus·IV" (carlos IV), the right "DEI·GRATLA" (god's grace), the lower part is the casting date "1790". On the back of the coin there is a crown with a shield under it. There are two pillars on either side of the shield, with streamers with words on them. Coin outer ring is Latin: "HISPAN. ET. The IND. REX. M. 8 r. f. may" translated into Spanish and west Indian king, M said Mexico made of 8, 8 r value dinar, f. may after two letters for COINS, cwi names with letter.
Due to the qing dynasty to the reparations and other reasons, Spain's double pillar COINS in China's coin collection market is very rare, there are few existing, so collectors are favored and sought after. Display this Spanish double - pillar coin, the whole intact, no damage. The coin is clear and the package is old. There are bank stamps on the surface, which makes the collection more historical and highly collectable.
