乾隆通寶為乾隆時期的流通貨幣， 乾隆皇帝在位的60年里施展其“文治武功”的治國策略，創(chuàng)造了封建社會里最后一個輝煌盛世，之后民間便盛傳佩帶“乾隆通寶”銅錢可驅(qū)災辟邪，又因乾隆二字諧音“錢隆”而備受后世藏家所喜愛的錢幣。
Ganlong Tongbao was the currency in circulation during the Ganlong period. During the 60 years of the reign of Emperor Ganlong, he used his "literary and administrative skills" to govern the country, creating the last glorious prosperous time in feudal society. After that, it was widely spread among the people that wearing "Ganlong Tongbao" copper coins could ward off disasters and evil spirits, and it was also popular among later Tibetans because of the homophonic word "Qianlong".
此組錢幣幣面均鐫“乾隆通寶”四字，表面字跡包漿不同，其字從上而下而右而左直讀。錢背書滿文，穿孔右邊鑄有各局名。此幣包漿天然，有歲月洗禮痕跡，線條流暢，粗細均勻，錢文端莊秀麗，文字筆畫剛勁有力、雕工精湛，美觀大方，字口深峻，穿口光潔，刀痕化盡，也找不到仼何澆鑄痕跡。
