光緒三十二年(l906)，四川省依照戶部所頒銅元祖模，改鑄“川”字大清銅幣，按干支紀年可分丙午、己酉兩種，幣值有二十文、十文、五文、二文四等。中心“川”字版的大清銅幣皆很少見，然而歷經百年，依舊有所存世，真可謂錢幣收藏界的幸事。

此枚大清銅幣川字版，錢幣正面珠圈內書漢文“大清銅幣”四字，分布上、下、右、左， 中心鑄“川”字，珠圈外上端左右兩側分鐫干支紀年“丙午”二字，珠圈外兩側中間鐫省份“戶部”二字，下環書“當制錢十文”，背面珠圈內鑄蟠龍圖案，珠圈外上環“光緒年造”，下環英文。
