最近香港某拍賣行在5月份春季拍賣會上，成交一副長度為5米多的琴棋書畫十字繡，成交價為75萬。為十字繡在拍賣會上又添了輝煌的一筆。2011年11月5日，中國第七屆金融博覽會舉辦的一場拍賣會上，一幅長達(dá)22米，由6名工人耗時5年繡成的十字繡手工藝品《清明上河圖》畫卷亮相，并以底價88萬元的價格起拍，最終以120萬元的高價落錘成交。
此琴棋書畫規(guī)格：3.3m x 1.4m，圖中所繡的十八個美女，體態(tài)端莊而不失嫵媚。他們有的在彈琴，有的在下棋，有的在看書或畫畫，好一幅形態(tài)萬千的美圖色種類很多讓作品更為突出。琴、棋、書、畫這四種中國文化悠遠(yuǎn)至深的瑰寶，被這十八位美女優(yōu)雅的姿態(tài)襯托得更加引人入勝。曾記得有這樣一首生動的描寫此圖中景物的詩：前談唐詩巧彈琴，后對歌賦妙盤棋；左聊宋詞迷經(jīng)書，右侃人生美如畫；前后左右談對聊，琴棋書畫樂無窮。
