文中展示的此枚咸豐重寶當十就誕生于此背景之下。錢幣正面鑄有楷書的“咸豐重寶”四字，自上而下而右而左直讀。錢背上下寫有漢字幣值“當十”二字，左右用滿文標記鑄造錢局的名稱。材質為精煉銅，分量十足，入手沉墜。
由于歷史背景的原因，此款錢幣鑄行數量本就不算多，而后被回收熔鑄了一大部分，目前的存世量就更稀少了。展示的此枚咸豐重寶當十，整體保存完好，銅質精煉。幣面的包漿熟舊自然，歷史感極強。所鐫刻錢文，筆畫規整深竣，可見鑄造工藝精湛，是一枚具有很高的觀賞價值和歷史價值的精品收藏錢幣，升值潛力巨大。
