劉文西新疆人物軸
劉文西（1933年10月17日-2019年7月7日），出生于浙江省嵊州市長樂鎮水竹村，中國人物畫泰斗，“浙派人物畫”代表畫家之一、黃土畫派創始人、第五套人民幣毛澤東畫像的作者。1950年在上海進入陶行知先生創辦的“育才學校”學習美術，1953年入浙江美術學院，受潘天壽等先生教導，1958年畢業后到西安美院工作。
Liu Wenxi (October 17, 1933-july 7, 2019), born in Shuizhu village, Changle Town, Shengzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is a leading figure in Chinese figure painting. He is one of the representatives of "Zhejiang School figure painting", the founder of loess school and the author of the fifth set of RMB Mao Zedong portrait. In 1950, he joined the "education school" founded by Tao Xingzhi in Shanghai to study fine arts. In 1953, he joined Zhejiang Academy of fine arts and was taught by Pan Tianshou and other professors. After graduation in 1958, he worked in Xi'an Academy of fine arts.
曾任全國文聯委員、原中國美術家協會副主席、中國畫藝委會委員，全國首批百位名師稱號獲得者。曾任黃土畫派藝術研究院院長、中國當代畫派聯誼會主席、陜西省文藝界聯合會顧問、陜西省美術家協會名譽主席、西安美術學院名譽院長、教授、博士研究生導師，第五套人民幣毛澤東畫像創作者、全國有突出貢獻的專家。劉文西是當代中國畫壇開宗立派的人物，他的繪畫，代表著中國畫寫實風格的發展方向，他的藝術精神，就是中華民族自強不息的精神，他是中國現代美術史上的一顆璀璨明珠。
