隕鐵，鐵隕石iron meteorite，主要成份為鐵、鎳的隕石。
主要由鐵紋石和鎳紋石兩種礦物組成，其次含有少量的石墨、隕磷鐵鎳礦、隕硫鉻礦、隕碳鐵、鉻鐵礦和隕硫鐵等。在化學(xué)成分上除Ni和Fe外，還含有Co、S、P、Cu、Cr、Ga、Ge和Ir等元素。有少數(shù)鐵隕石還含有硅酸鹽包體。鐵隕石的分類主要根據(jù)Ni、Ga、Ge和Ir的含量及其構(gòu)造特征，分為13個群。
Ni含量約6～14%的鐵隕石,具有由鐵紋石和鎳紋石片晶構(gòu)成的圖像，這種圖像稱為維斯臺登構(gòu)造。80%以上的鐵隕石都具有這種圖像，鐵紋石和鎳紋石片晶呈八面體排列的鐵隕石，命名為八面體鐵隕石。這一塊隕石Ni經(jīng)過檢測在8%，左側(cè)的重量在1913克，右側(cè)在2647克，像Ni達(dá)到這樣的鐵隕石，很少見的，所以價值極高。本藏品將于2019年12月28號在迪拜拍賣 ，有意向的藏友請盡快聯(lián)系
