霽藍(lán)釉，又稱“積藍(lán)釉”“祭藍(lán)釉”“霽青釉”，明、清藍(lán)釉習(xí)稱“霽藍(lán)”，是一種添加了鈷礦料的高溫石灰堿釉，其生坯施釉，1280-1320℃高溫還原焰下一次燒成。其釉色濃淡勻凈，藍(lán)如深海，呈色穩(wěn)定，釉面不流不裂，晶瑩透亮，光可鑒人，亮如寶石，有的微見橘皮紋。
用藍(lán)釉裝飾陶瓷，可以追溯到唐代的唐三彩和唐白釉藍(lán)彩，但那是低溫藍(lán)釉。到元朝，景德鎮(zhèn)陶工成功燒制出高溫鈷藍(lán)釉。在這之前，霽藍(lán)釉通常是作為瓷器繪畫的釉料，作為整體施釉的釉料是景德鎮(zhèn)元代陶工的首創(chuàng)，為顏色釉瓷器增添了新品種，也為明清景德鎮(zhèn)制瓷工藝的高度發(fā)展奠定了基礎(chǔ)。據(jù)文獻(xiàn)記載，當(dāng)時霽藍(lán)器的廢品率較高。燒制時，窯溫要控制得當(dāng)。溫度低了，釉色發(fā)黑，溫度稍高又會出現(xiàn)流釉。元代還有霽藍(lán)釉戧金、霽藍(lán)釉刻白龍（或花卉）紋、霽藍(lán)釉印花等裝飾手法

Ji Blue Glaze, also known as "Ji Blue Glaze", "Ji Blue Glaze" and "Ji Blue Glaze", Ming and Qing Blue Glazes are commonly known as "Ji Blue". If the temperature is low, the glaze will turn black, and if the temperature is slightly higher, glaze will flow. In Yuan Dynasty, there were also decorative techniques such as gilding with blue glaze, carving white dragon (or flower) patterns with blue glaze, and printing with blue glaze. This blue glaze basin of Song Yuan Ji is an extremely eye-catching art treasure among blue glaze porcelain of Yuan Dynasty, and also an epoch-making porcelain art treasure, representing the highest level of Jingdezhen kiln in Yuan Dynasty.
