該組錢幣為袁大頭簽字版一組，其一為普通簽字版此幣由意大利籍雕刻師喬（L.Giorgi）設計制模，喬治設計前并未見過袁世凱本人，是以袁氏半身向左的照片為樣本進行雕刻，稱為“七分臉”，完成后赴京晉見，發現與袁世凱本人差異甚大而未受青睞。分別有喬治“簽字版”及“無簽字版”，后來采用大家熟知的袁大頭也有英文簽字版，此幣人物向側面傾斜七分稱“七分臉”，幣面上的英文字樣L.GIORGI為華外籍鑄幣專家意大利雕刻師所刻，比無簽字版少，鑄額亦極少，此幣自然氧化顏色均勻，為難得之佳品。另一枚為蘇維埃簽字版，此枚袁大頭三年蘇維埃版正面為袁大頭五分戎裝像，上鈴‘蘇維埃’三字斧記，左邊同樣有因為簽字，上緣“中華民國三年”，“民”帶一點;背面兩條嘉禾，左右交互，下系結帶，中鑄“壹圓”二字。錢幣上文字、圖案、花紋，色澤光鮮自然，紋飾深淺適度，邊緣線條粗細均勻，間距也疏密一致。人像、發絲、胡須、穗芒等細微之處清晰有度，很生動。此枚袁大頭三年蘇維埃版極為罕見稀有，此組藏品端莊，圓形，品相完好，包漿自然，制作精致，人物肖像栩栩如生，其無論文字和紋飾，皆十分精到，凸凹鮮明，文字筆劃和紋飾線條圓滾，致其品相精美無比，其工藝水準也是至今之偽所不能矣。在同類藏品中，品相屬于上等，屬于極具收藏價值和升值空間的貨幣。
