民國三年軍政府造四川銅幣，銅幣正面中央珠圈內(nèi)有“四川銅幣”四字，上下左右分列，其中心飾有芙蓉花紋。珠圈上緣書“軍政府造”四字，下緣為“當制錢五十文”字樣，標明幣值，左右飾以花星紋飾。銅幣背面中央大圓圈內(nèi)為一篆書“漢”字，“漢”字底有數(shù)十條橫直紋，因而錢幣收藏者也稱之為“漢”字銅元。“漢”字圓圈外還環(huán)繞有18個小圓圈，代表當時的十八個省份。把18個小圓圈圍繞著“漢”字聯(lián)成一體，寓意十八省人民團結(jié)起來共同為“驅(qū)逐韃虜，恢復(fù)中華”而戰(zhàn)斗。它帶有辛亥革命那一時期鮮明的時代印記，見證了那一段波瀾壯闊的民國歷史,此藏品極具收藏價值和升值空間。

四川銅幣在清末初鑄時，質(zhì)量較好，一般都是用紫銅。每枚銅元的含銅量均在96%--97%左右。民國以后，成、渝兩地鑄造的銅元。因當事者貪圖重利。攙入白鉛較多，除老一百、老二百兩種為紫銅外，其余均是白黃色的白鉛。故銅質(zhì)不如清末所鑄之純，但官方要求是成色96%以上。由于四川省內(nèi)軍閥混亂，有些軍閥用銅日雜，使成色方面連95%也難以達到。，1911年10月辛亥革命爆發(fā)，12月四川成立大漢四川軍政府，四川軍政府接管了設(shè)在成都的四川造幣分廠。為滿足軍需和保路運動的需要，廢除了前清龍模銀銅幣，新創(chuàng)四川銀、銅幣模型，于1912年起，由四川造幣廠正式開鑄四川軍政府“漢”字銀、銅元。僅存于世的寥寥無幾，眾所周知，古玩文物以稀為貴。該元寶保存完好，質(zhì)地清晰，是難得一見的光緒元寶中的珍品。所以該幣留存較少價值較高。
