墨西哥自由帽圖鷹洋，正面是一張翅雄鷹,嘴叼長蛇（蛇尾較細(xì)，與鷹翅不相連），單腿立在仙人掌上，邊緣上方書西班牙文“REPUBLCAMEXICANA(墨西哥共和國)”。背面中央為一頂自由軟帽。帽檐書有西班牙文“LIBERTAD(自由)”字樣。帽周圍放射著長短不一的32支光柱。圖案象征著力量、忠誠、和平和自由。自由帽頂?shù)?支光柱，中間一支較長（同花邊鷹洋正相反）。自由帽下邊緣有9支光柱（花邊鷹洋為11支）。直邊鷹洋背面鑄造年份前的字母，是造幣廠的標(biāo)識印記。鑄造年份后的字母是確認(rèn)鑄造數(shù)量和時間的標(biāo)識。由于不同造幣廠、不同的年代、不同的字母變位，所形成的版別有40多種。自由帽圖直邊鷹洋從1898～1905年均有鑄造。此枚精品銀幣品相完好，錢文輪廓的清晰程度好，對于集幣愛好者來說，這枚墨西哥的鷹洋幣，具有很高的歷史價值、藝術(shù)價值和收藏價值。
