在大清銅幣的遺存中，有珍有普，普品居多，然亦有十大珍、十小珍，諸如此類。而在所謂十小珍中，有一枚甚獨特的大清銅幣，即為“大清銅幣雙花二文”。此幣為清末宣統年所鑄的套幣之一（一文、二文、五文、十文），而其最為獨特之處在于其未鑄滿文，并在滿文位置即幣面左右采用了花卉紋，這在大清銅幣中是獨一無二的。根據記載，該套幣除了十文有流通外，其余皆未發行流通，故該幣僅為試鑄，鑄量很少，遺存稀薄，終成收藏珍品。

此枚大清銅幣 面文“大清銅幣”四字，楷書書體，直讀。其字書法上乘，筆力遒勁，起收有頓，轉折見鋒，筆劃亦是粗酋，可謂美書，端美俊朗。其背可見穿口上下“二文”之字，書相風格特征與面文一致。而續可見其穿孔左右分列花卉枝，對稱協調，故稱為“雙花”幣式。毫無疑問，就書相而言，本品正是宣統官局所鑄，樣幣美書美相，其門不叩自開矣。
