熙寧元寶是中國古代錢幣之一，是北宋熙寧年間流通貨幣之一。當時熙寧年間王安石以發展生產、富國強兵、挽救宋朝政治危機為目的，以“理財”、“整軍”為中心，進行了變法，又稱熙寧變法。變法涉及政治、經濟、軍事、社會、文化各個方面，是中國古代史上繼商鞅變法之后又一次規模巨大的社會變革運動。變法一定程度上改變了北宋積貧積弱的局面，充實了政府財政，提高了國防力量，對封建地主階級和大商人非法漁利也進行了打擊和限制。Xining Yuanbao is one of the ancient coins in China and one of the circulating coins in Xining period of the Northern Song Dynasty.
