Jiangnan province makes Wuxu Guangxu Yuanbao Kuping seven coins and two Fen silver coins
江南省造光緒元寶系指清代光緒二十三年至三十一年(1897-1905年)由南京造幣廠鑄造的“光緒元寶”系列銀幣，系清代正式鑄行的法定流通銀幣。但鑄行江南省造銀幣的清末，已無(wú)江南省建制。
Guangxu Yuanbao of Jiangnan province refers to the "Guangxu Yuanbao" series of silver coins, which was cast by Nanjing mint from the 23rd to the 31st year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1897-1905). It is a legal circulation silver coin officially cast in the Qing Dynasty. But at the end of Qing Dynasty, there was no system of Jiangnan province.
江南省設(shè)于清朝順治二年(1645年)，省府位于江寧(今南京)。清代的江南省前身是明朝的南直隸江南省，范圍大致相當(dāng)于今天的江蘇省、上海市和安徽省。康熙六年(1667年)清廷撤江南省，分設(shè)江蘇和安徽兩個(gè)省。南京造幣廠將其鑄造的銀幣標(biāo)明“江南省造”，是因?yàn)楫?dāng)時(shí)蘇州已經(jīng)有一個(gè)專(zhuān)鑄機(jī)制銅元的造幣廠，其鑄造的銅元均標(biāo)明“江蘇省造”。為避免混淆，南京造幣廠將其鑄造的銀幣標(biāo)明“江南省造”。系我國(guó)貨幣史上唯一有名無(wú)實(shí)的省份銀幣。
Jiangnan province was established in 1645, the second year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty, and the provincial capital is located in Jiangning (now Nanjing). Jiangnan Province in Qing Dynasty was formerly nanzhili Jiangnan Province in Ming Dynasty, and its scope is roughly equivalent to Jiangsu Province, Shanghai city and Anhui Province today. In the sixth year of Kangxi (1667), the Qing government withdrew Jiangnan province and divided it into two provinces, Jiangsu and Anhui. Nanjing Mint marked its silver coins as "made in Jiangnan province", because there was a mint in Suzhou at that time that specialized in the production of copper coins, and its copper coins were all marked as "made in Jiangsu Province". In order to avoid confusion, Nanjing Mint marked its silver coins as "made in Jiangnan province". It is the only provincial silver coin with no real name in the history of Chinese currency.

江南省造戊戌光緒元寶庫(kù)平七錢(qián)二分銀幣，系南京造幣廠于光緒二十四年(1898)鑄造，是江南省造光緒元寶中第一種鐫有干支紀(jì)年的銀幣。有背面大英文和小英文兩種版式，兩種版式銀幣的背面老版龍圖不同。本品為大英文版。銀幣正面中央珠圈內(nèi)鐫滿(mǎn)漢文“光緒元寶”四字，(緒有日上劃連與不連之分，土旁上劃短等)圈外上端鐫“江南省造”(有滿(mǎn)文中心點(diǎn)少見(jiàn)、長(zhǎng)內(nèi)齒)，下端鐫幣重“庫(kù)平七錢(qián)二分”，左右兩側(cè)分鐫干支紀(jì)年“戊戌”二字(另有戌戊版少見(jiàn))。銀幣背面中央鐫一個(gè)龍?bào)w肥大曲折的老版長(zhǎng)刺珍珠龍，(有凹、凸眼龍)上端鐫英文“江南省”，下端鐫英文幣重“庫(kù)平七錢(qián)二分”，字體有大、小英文版。
The silver coin with seven coins and two cents was minted by Nanjing Mint in 1898. It is the first type of silver coin engraved with the year of the main branch and the branch. There are two types of silver coins: big English and small English. The old dragon on the back of the two types of silver coins is different. This product is in English. On the obverse of the silver coin, the four characters of "Guangxu Yuanbao" in Chinese are engraved in the central pearl circle (there are two kinds of characters of "Guangxu Yuanbao" in the sun, one is "Jiangnan province made" on the outside of the circle (there are few Manchu center points, long inner teeth), on the bottom of the circle is engraved with "Kuping Qiqian dichotomy", on the left and right are engraved with "Wuxu" in the year of Ganzhi (there are also two types of "Xuwu"). On the back of the silver coin, there is an old version of long thorn Pearl Dragon with a large and zigzag dragon body in the center (with concave and convex eyes). On the upper end, there is an English "Jiangnan province", on the lower end, there is an English coin with a weight of "Kuping seven coins and two cents", with large and small English versions.
