坐洋幣，又稱法屬印度支那貿易銀圓，亦稱安南銀元。而所謂貿易銀圓，就是一些帝國主義國家為了發展殖民地貿易而發行的銀幣，坐洋幣就是其中之一。1858年，法蘭西第二帝國入侵安南（今越南），1884年，強迫安南簽訂第二次《順化條約》，安南淪為法國殖民地，為了發展殖民地貿易經濟，法西蘭第二帝國于1885年開始鑄造坐洋幣，至1928年共計43年。
而在中國的發行時間為1903年至1933年，其因中國在1933年實行廢兩改元后，法國船洋法幣逐漸消失，坐洋幣也隨之消失。
文中展示的此枚坐洋幣為1889年版本。此枚銀幣整體保存完好，鑄造工藝純熟。正面主圖為手執束棒的自由女神坐像，坐像的兩側鑄法文文字是：REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE（法蘭西共和國）。女神座下方有小字法文BARRE和該幣發行的年份1889年。銀幣背面主圖案為一花環，周圈為說明文字，花環上方鑄法文為：FRANCAISE INDO-CHINE（法蘭西印度支那），銀幣花環中間的橫向文字為銀幣的面額：PIASTRE DE COMMERCE(皮阿斯特的貿易銀)。銀幣花環下方文字為：TITRE 0.900 POIDS 27 GR。
錢幣正面的希臘自由女神坐像立體感極強，細節精致。所飾花紋線條深刻有力，磨損較小，線條清晰。幣面的包漿熟舊，歷史感極強。由于此款錢幣屬于流通在中國市場的外國錢幣，結合當時的特殊時代背景，使得這款錢幣具有很高的歷史價值和收藏價值，升值潛力巨大。
By the dollar, also known as the French Indochina trade silver dollar, also known as the annan silver dollar. The so-called trade silver dollar is a silver coin issued by some imperialist countries in order to develop colonial trade. In 1858, the second French empire invaded annan (present-day Vietnam). In 1884, annan was forced to sign the second treaty of hue. Annan became a colony of France.
In China, it was issued from 1903 to 1933, because after China implemented the abolition of the two yuan reform in 1933, the French foreign currency gradually disappeared, and the foreign currency disappeared.
The coin shown here is an 1889 version. The coin is in good condition as a whole and has good casting skills. On the front, the main figure is a seated statue of the statue of liberty with a stick. The French words REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE are cast on both sides of the statue. Below the goddess seat are the small letters in French BARRE and the year in which the coin was issued, 1889. On the reverse side of the coin, the main design is a wreath, with the circle as the caption. On the top of the wreath is the inscription FRANCAISE indo-chine (French Indochina). In the middle of the coin wreath, the horizontal inscription is the face of the coin: PIASTRE DE COMMERCE. Beneath the coin wreath is the inscription: TITRE 0.900 POIDS 27 GR.
