蔣中正先生，字介石，在其民國六十二年(1973)，緒十三年九月十五日（一八八七年十月三十一日）生，浙江省奉化縣溪口鎮人。民國六十一年，由國民大會第五次會議選舉為第五任總統。民國六十四年四月五日病逝，享壽八十九歲。
Mr. Jiang Zhongzheng, a Jieshi, was born in Xikou Town, Fenghua County, Zhejiang Province in the sixty second year of the Republic of China (1973) and September 15, xi13 (October 31, 1887). In the sixty first year of the Republic of China, the Fifth National Assembly elected the fifth president. On April 5, 2004, he died of illness and was 89 years old.

This coin of 70 years of the Republic of China (ten yuan) is a circulating coin of NT $10 issued by Taiwan in 1981 (seventy years of the Republic of China).
