康熙通寶鑄于清圣祖康熙年間(1662~1722年)。
錢面文字“康熙通寶”以楷書書寫，從上而下而右而左直讀。康熙通寶按照背面文字可以分成兩大類：一類是仿"順治四式"的滿文錢。錢背滿文"寶泉"、"寶源"左讀，是戶、工兩部所造。另外一類是仿"順治五式"滿漢文錢。康熙通寶共有24種版式，分別是24個鑄錢局鑄造的。從正面文字看，并沒有多大區別，皆為楷書康熙通寶。可背文卻各不相同，除戶部寶泉局和寶源局為滿文外，其它22種錢幣均為滿漢兩種文字并存，左邊是滿文，右邊是漢文，這22個滿漢對照的字代表22個鑄錢局。后人為收藏和研究方便，將滿漢文紀地的局名編在一起，形成了一首押韻、順口的康熙錢“背文詩”。詩云：同福臨東江，宣原蘇薊昌。南河寧廣浙，臺桂陜云漳。這首詩將“康熙通寶”錢背滿漢文的二十局都囊括其中。所以有人將康熙的這套錢稱為“詩文二十品”?？滴跬▽毚砹酥袊呢泿盼幕?，反映了我國近代歷史、經濟、金融的興衰和滄桑具有很高的藝術觀賞價值和文物價值，也具有一定的保值和升值功能。康熙元年（1662年）清政府下令停上代“順治通寶”錢，而改鑄“康熙通寶”錢，并規定以后凡是嗣位改元，所鑄錢制皆如此例?？v觀康熙一朝，在全國共開設鑄錢局二十四處。由于受當時冶鑄工本和錢幣私鑄等問題的影響，每一文康熙錢曾分別重一錢四分、一錢、七分，這樣一來便產生了我們今天見到的大、中、小三種不同重量的“康熙通寶”錢?？滴蹂X的背文除工部、戶部所設的寶泉、寶源兩局所鑄均為滿文外，其它外地各錢局鼓鑄的通寶錢，其背文左為滿文紀地，右為相應的漢字紀地。 一是普通“康熙通寶”“熙”字為左邊多一豎劃，而羅漢錢，則不然；二是普通“康熙通寶”雙點通，而“羅漢錢”為“單點通三是，羅漢錢”比普通的““康熙通寶”制作精良，而且銅質金黃光亮。清圣祖康熙年間鑄“康熙通寶”，面文楷書，“羅漢錢”即“康熙通寶”的異品，面文亦為“康熙通寶”，但與普通的“康熙通寶”有明顯不同，一是普通“康熙通寶”“熙”字為左邊多一豎劃，而“羅漢錢”則不然；二是普通“康熙通寶”為“雙點通”，而“羅漢錢”為“單點通”；三是“羅漢錢”比普通 此枚錢幣內外齒邊規整，采用反沙倒模工工藝，保存較完整，包漿自然,此錢幣在傳世過程中流通時間較長，平板磨損較大，字眼紋飾依稀可見，略有浮雕質感。
