There are many different versions of the Yuan Shikai silver coins that were minted in the Republic of China for three years. The patterns on the front are basically the same, but the patterns on the back and some details are different. After the Revolution of 1911, Yuan Shikai became the "temporary president" and later became the official president.
At that time, in order to consolidate the stability of the domestic political situation, develop the national economy, and prepare for the "constitution of the Constitution" and "the emperor", the "Regulations on the National Currency" was issued, and it was decided to "unify the currency system" throughout the country.
The three-year version of the Republic of China is a portrait of Yuan Shikai, listed above as "Three Years of the Republic of China." There is no "made" after the word "year", and other years have a "made" word after the word "year". In the three-year version of the word "people", there is a "point", while in other years, there is no "point" in the folk characters.
Yao Minmin, deputy director of the former China Coin Museum and deputy secretary general of the China Coin Society, pointed out: "In the three years of the Republic of China (1914), the Beiyang 3 warlord government officially cast Yuan Shikai's head of silver coins, and Yuan Shikai's side head was cast on the coin. 'Yuan Datou'. 'Yuan Datou' silver coins have four denominations: round, medium (five), horn, and horn, the most common of which is Yuan Yuan 'Yuan Datou', so the so-called 'Yuan Datou' is mainly Yuan Shikai’s head is silver coin. 'Yuan Datou’ was first cast by the Tianjin Mint. Later, the coinage factories in Nanjing, Guangdong, Wuchang and Gansu were successively cast. Due to their silver weight and good reputation, they became the Republic of China. During the period and even longer, the currency used in various parts of China was used."
This collection is the first batch of Yuan Datou made by the Beiyang official bureau. At that time, the number of castings was very rare. It is a treasure of the world, and it is very collectible. It is a collection of folk collectors!
