民國成立后，銅元仍繼續(xù)大量流通使用。1914年，銅元正式改稱“銅幣”，民國發(fā)行的銅幣與清最大的區(qū)別是龍紋被換成了由稻穗組成的嘉禾紋。各省鑄造的銅元大多為兩面交叉的旗子，并有“開國紀(jì)念幣”或“中華民國銅幣”字樣。

民國二年，也就是1913年，時任四川軍政府都督的胡景伊，在繼續(xù)鑄造“漢”字幣的同時，增鑄重七錢的二百文大面額銅元。幣面中心直書“貳百文”面值，兩旁分列嘉穗圖案，上沿年號“中華民國二年”，下沿廠名“四川造幣廠造”，左右分列十字花星。錢幣背中央為交叉的雙旗圖，外環(huán)珠圈，上下沿英文，中華民國和200文。這也是民國時期四川銅元中唯一使用英文的一種貨幣。由于后來國民政府發(fā)行統(tǒng)一幣模，各地方錢幣即停止鑄造發(fā)行，因而鑄造量少，流通時間短，頗為珍貴。

On the back of the coin, there are two crossed flags, the outer circle of beads, the upper and lower edge of English, the Republic of China and 200 characters. This is also the only currency in Sichuan copper yuan in the period of the Republic of China using English. Since the national government later issued the unified currency model, the coins in various places stopped casting, so the amount of casting was small and the circulation time was short, which was quite precious.
此枚藏品是中華民國二年四川造幣廠所鑄貳佰文雙旗幣，錢面實心圓圈內(nèi)正中鑄“貳百文”字樣，圈內(nèi)下方為麥穗，圈外上鑄“中華民國二年”標(biāo)明年份，下方鑄寫“四川造幣廠造”六字標(biāo)明鑄地，兩側(cè)各一十字星花。背面中間為珠圈，珠圈內(nèi)鑄繪兩雙旗交叉而立，此幣包漿自然，字體清晰秀氣，樣式美觀大方，發(fā)行量極少，流傳至今已然十不存一，此枚中華民國二年貳佰文雙旗幣品相完好，實屬難得，具有很高的收藏價值！
