《長征徽寶》在革命圣地井岡山舉行了隆重的首發儀式。該款寶璽是由北京工美集團監制，中國著名工藝美術大師仵海洲，以此隆重紀念中國工農紅軍長征勝利80周年，參加首發式的單位及領導有中國人民革命軍事博物館原館長郭德河將軍，北京工美集團技術中心市場部主任馮延明先生及工藝大師王希偉先生，井岡山革命博物館副館長羅衛國先生，瑞金中央革命根據地紀念館副館長楊榮彬先生，四渡赤水紀念館館長羅永賦先生，延安革命紀念館副館長王曉英女士，于都縣博物館副館長張小平先生，全國毛紀念館聯誼會秘書長黃建新先生、副秘書長吳勇先生，毛身邊工作人員嗣杰先生，著名書法家、鑒賞家、北京國寶書畫院院長、北京公正華夏文物鑒定中心主任林亞明先生等蒞臨現場，并給予了《長征徽寶》高度評價。
該款《長征徽寶》為威嚴的盤龍造型，意為“以誥四方”之用。與弘揚長征精神、長征思想的偉大意義相一致；璽基左側浮雕遵義會議會址，象征中國共產黨和工農紅軍歷史上的偉大轉折；右側浮雕長征路線圖，象征長征永載革命史冊；背面雕刻偉大領袖毛主席詩詞“七律長征”，象征中華民族百折不饒、勇于進取的民族精神。璽文為毛主席曾親筆題寫的“長征”，象征長征精神生生不息、永世流芳。
任何一個工藝品都是獨具匠心的作品，《長征徽寶》以清代乾隆二十五寶璽之“敕正萬民之寶”為藍本，沿襲自古以來傳承帝王龍璽的傳統，精選老礦坑和田美玉，國禮設計大師馮延明、申文廣、馮超聯合為其創意設計。并力邀“北京奧運徽寶”雕刻大師仵海洲擔任總雕刻師，運用傳統玉璽制作工藝，結合現代玉雕技術精心雕琢而成，整尊寶璽造型大氣、玉質溫潤、刀工精湛，盡顯古玩堂皇大氣的風范！
《長征徽寶》材質為上品和田玉，玉質溫潤、無雜質，有白玉版、青白玉版、青玉版三個版本，均屬目前極為珍貴的材質。從藝術創意上，集合了目前國禮御制單位北京工美集團四位頂尖級創作大師的藝術靈感，匯中國造璽精湛技藝于一身；從歷史文化價值上看，集中體現了紅軍長征的歷史足跡，是中華民族自強不息民品格的至體現。無論從歷史價值、藝術價值，還是文化價值上，都是紀念長征勝利中，華人民共和國成立70周年，以紅色題材為主、弘揚長征精神、凝聚民族智慧的至珍藏品。”
