河南省造光緒元寶當十，正面圈內鑄有銘文“光緒元寶”，珠圈外上環(huán)鑄楷體“河南省造”四字，中心為太極圖。元寶背面內圈鑄有神龍騰飛圖騰，外圈鑄有英文，品相精致，其審美風格獨特。這種銅元正面有“河南省造”、“光緒元寶”、“當制錢十文”等銘文，中有太極圖。背有”HO-NAN(河南)、“TEN CASH”(十文)等文，中有龍圖。龍圖分水龍、旱龍、八星水龍、大清龍等。清代，以龍圖為銅元的主要圖案的情形十分普遍，但以太極圖為銅元的圖案，則顯得少見而具有鮮明的地方特色。錢幣雖小，也可管窺當時社會文化一斑。藏品雖經歷了無窮歲月，但紋路依然清晰可見，也見證了其歷史的積淀，具有非常明顯的歷史過渡性特征，有著難以言喻的價值。
