此藏品為咸豐重寶當十，正面鑄有楷書“咸豐重寶”從上而下而右而左直讀；錢背上下寫有漢文“當十”二字，左右用滿文寫有鑄造錢局的名稱。錢幣可見其黃銅材質(zhì)，整體銅色熟舊感鮮明。水下形成的水垢皮和薄銹，仍然鮮明可見，包漿呈現(xiàn)踏實老道之質(zhì)地和顏色。這種由寶泉局所鑄的咸豐重寶當十珍寶版錢，諸譜有錄，然曰母錢，甚為稀見，這一版式的錢，鑄造量少，遺存稀薄而至今不易見到而已。錢幣字跡深俊，鑄工精細，字體清晰端莊，筆畫圓潤工整，中間穿正方形孔，在日光的照射下更散發(fā)出熠熠光輝。整幣紋脈清晰，網(wǎng)格完整。有著難以言喻的收藏價值。
