此枚錢幣為張先生家傳藏品，錢幣包漿渾厚，字跡模印清晰，雖有少量磨損卻恰恰證明了藏品的歷史痕跡。

錢幣正面圓環內鑄有“貳百文”字樣，圈內下方為麥穗環繞，圈外上面鑄寫“中華民國二年”六字，下方鑄寫“四川造幣廠造”六字，左右兩側各飾一朵四角星花紋；錢幣背面中間有雙旗交叉而立，旗桿系有彎曲的瓔珞，雙旗筆直挺立，位于珠圈內，圈外上方為英文字體“中華民國二年”，下方為“200CASH”英文字樣。此類錢幣根據其背面的旗幟圖案，有直纓、曲纓之差異，此枚四川造幣廠造二百文屬于曲纓雙旗。

This 200 Wen coin made by Sichuan Mint belongs to the Double Flag of curved tassels.
雙旗二百文銅元由于不是單一鑄造者生產，故其版式亦相應較多。僅僅是有明顯差異的版式也在數十種以上。雙旗二百文銅元可按其幣背交叉雙旗下垂之旗纓不同而分為兩大類版式，旗纓垂直下垂者，帶稱“直纓版”；旗纓環繞旗桿下垂者，俗稱“曲纓版”。

1911年辛亥革命勝利后，清帝退位，中華民國成立。民國成立時，由于幣制尚未建立，主要的造幣廠，大都仍沿用前清鋼模鑄造錢幣，以供流通需要，當時四川改鑄四川銅元，有二百文、五百文一等幣值。隨后在頒布的“臨時大總統令”中提出要“另刊新模，鼓鑄紀念幣”，國民政府統一幣模后，原本的錢幣便停止了鑄造發行，因而四川造幣廠貳百文鑄造量少，流通時間短，極其珍貴。
