唐代醬釉罐

醬釉即醬色釉,是一種以鐵為著色劑的高溫釉,釉色如柿黃色或芝麻醬色,故而得名。

提起醬釉,往往給人以含糊的感覺,有人通稱為“紫定”。但可以肯定,古人是能夠從直觀視覺上辨別這些顏色的。還有人將醬釉稱為“絳釉”“赫釉”“赭釉”“褐釉”等,這些顏色在古代文獻(xiàn)中也有明確記載。至于用“醬色”來形容瓷器釉色,其概念含義本身也是十分寬泛的,令人難以界定出準(zhǔn)確色位。以醬類作料的代稱作為顏色名詞使用似乎出現(xiàn)得較晚。清代以后,醬色已經(jīng)是與紫、紅、青、綠、黑等并列的顏色專有名詞了。

醬釉瓷是中國古代高溫顏色釉品種之一,東漢晚期,醬釉瓷器出現(xiàn)在南方江浙地區(qū),兩晉時期得到發(fā)展。南北朝時期,以北賈壁窯為代表的北方瓷窯也開始燒造醬釉瓷,隋、唐時期有所發(fā)展。宋、遼、金時期,醬釉瓷器的生產(chǎn)遍及全國,但仍以北方瓷窯為主,定窯、耀州窯和當(dāng)陽峪窯堪稱其楷模。元、明、清時期,隨著全國瓷業(yè)中心的形成,江西景德鎮(zhèn)窯生產(chǎn)的醬釉瓷器一枝獨(dú)秀。宋代是醬釉瓷器發(fā)展的黃金時期,南北各地瓷窯普遍燒造,并以北方的耀州窯、定窯和當(dāng)陽峪窯為杰出代表。當(dāng)陽峪窯醬釉瓷器堪稱杰出代表,“開時光彩驚奇異,銅色如朱白如玉。“雖然當(dāng)陽峪窯醬釉瓷器的輝煌早已在金戈鐵馬、漫漫狼煙中漸漸淡去,但這一華貴而不熱烈、靜謐而不絢艷、神秘而不沉重的具有特殊美感的優(yōu)秀瓷器品種,并沒有消失在歷史記憶的長河中,而是以煌煌赫赫的官窯氣象重新書寫了它的燦爛歷程,這也正是醬釉瓷器令人回味無窮的魅力所在。

該件唐代醬釉罐,高11.6厘米,口徑5.2厘米,底徑6厘米。醬釉純正,釉層薄且施釉均勻,胎釉結(jié)合緊密,器身拉坯痕跡清晰可見,不見開片,器底無釉,大平底,胎質(zhì)青灰,雖歷經(jīng)千年滄桑,其釉表仍光瑩明亮造型古撲大氣,醬釉呈深褐色,器底胎質(zhì)青灰且局部鈣化剝落,與同時期的陶瓷相比,底足修葺尤為規(guī)整難得。
