此枚藏品為中華民國十八年雙帆孫小頭，系民國十八年上海中央造幣廠所鑄。整幣通體為雪花銀鑄造，正面上端鑄有“中華民國十八年”字樣，下端為孫中山側面像，此幣文字清晰，圖案精美，頭像生動傳神，鑄造技術非常精湛，而且這枚藏品保存較好，其色澤自然，雖稍有銹跡卻無礙其品相，反而更顯自然細膩，圖文深淺合適。幣中孫中山頭像栩栩如生。設計新穎，鑄工精湛；具有極高的收藏價值和藝術價值！
1929年，時值國民黨政府推行所謂“法幣”政策，以中央、中國、交通三大銀行發行的紙幣為法定貨幣，白銀收歸國有，限期以法幣兌換銀幣，銀圓已不成合法通貨。故此十八年孫中山像三帆銀幣鑄成之后，并未流通于市，存世量之少可想而知。
