全世界只有我國(guó)福建壽山鄉(xiāng)的一塊不到1公里的田中出產(chǎn)，因色相普遍泛黃色，又產(chǎn)在田里，故稱田黃石，產(chǎn)量基地，數(shù)百年來(lái)在早已挖掘殆盡。其材質(zhì)溫潤(rùn)凝膩，在軟質(zhì)雕刻石中居第一品。明清各朝均被當(dāng)作貢品獻(xiàn)入皇宮，被雕刻成御用的璽印及藝術(shù)擺件。
Tianhuangshi, the king of stone, is produced in Tiankeng, Shoushan Village, the northern suburb of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It is the only precious treasure of Qianlong, Chenhan, Lotian and Jingjie in Shoushan Stone. It has the meanings of "Fujian", "Shoushan", "Tian" (wealth), "Huang" (special color for the emperor), so it is called "Emperor Stone". It possesses six virtues of fine, clean, moist, greasy, warm and congealed stone, and has become a special national stone for celestial worship in the Qing Dynasty. Historically, the governor of Fujian in Qing Dynasty carved "three chains" with a piece of high-class Tianhuang, which was worshipped by Emperor Qianlong and handed down from generation to generation in Qing Dynasty; Emperor Xianfeng gave Cixi a Huang imperial seal when he died; when the last dynasty collapsed, Puyi did not want all the treasures, but sewed the "three chapters" into cotton clothes. As for folk legend, Tianhuangshi is a gem left in the world when women make up for heaven. It is also said that the eggs of Phoenix birds have changed. It is also said that Tianhuangshi can repel disasters and evade evil spirits, and that Tibetan Tianhuang can prolong life. In the world, only a field less than 1 kilometer in Shoushan Township, Fujian Province, is produced. Because of its general yellowish color, it is also produced in the field, so it is called Tianhuangshi, the production base, which has been excavated for hundreds of years. Its material is warm, moist and greasy, ranking first in soft carved stone. Ming and Qing dynasties were sacrificed to the palace as tributes and carved into imperial seals and artistic ornaments.
