此壺又稱臥壺，一面鼓腹，腹中有臍形凸起，一面砂底無釉，中心下凹成臍。小口，直頸，帶蓋，肩兩側各有一圓環形系，通體青花繪畫紋飾，蓋頂為條形花瓣，蓋墻處繪折枝花卉，頸部上層纏枝花邊飾一周，下層為海浪紋飾。腹部側面繪纏枝花卉，腹正面紋飾三層，外層為盛行的浪花邊飾，中層為纏枝花，中心凸起部位海浪紋為地，上托八角星一顆，八角星正中繪環枝花。此瓶造型奇特，系受當時西亞文化影響的結果，青花呈色濃艷青翠，用進口青料繪制而成。青花瓷中的精品，具有極高的收藏價值和市場價值。
